Paul Gilligan
CEO
Paul is an impact focussed leader, with a career history spanning the cross-cutting sectors of Finance, Energy, Technology, and Innovation. He has a deep technical and commercial understanding of energy transition, energy systems, emerging technologies and approaches to grid decarbonisation. Paul is passionate about disruption and impact, encouraging his team to challenge the status quo if, in doing so, improvements for the environment and people can be achieved.
Alex Wilcox Brooke
Head of Carbon and Nature
Alex is a strong communicator with over 7 years’ experience leading and delivering innovative nature-based projects, specialising in biochar and all things carbon. He drives partnership building to develop impactful projects across the sector, working passionately towards a net zero future. Trained as an Energy & Sustainability engineer, Alex is well-versed in innovative sustainability, environmental engineering, renewable energy technologies, and community project management.
Lewis Sharman
Head of Buildings and Retrofit
Lewis is deeply committed to using his knowledge and experience gained within the construction industry to tackle barriers to the decarbonisation of buildings. With over 8 years of experience in the construction sector, Lewis leverages his technical know-how alongside strong service design and research skills to develop and deliver innovative projects and services to decarbonise buildings.
Sarah Bloise- Brooke
Head of community energy
Sarah has worked in the sustainable energy sector since 2006 and is passionate about using her technical and analytical skills in tandem with creative problem-solving to develop people-centred solutions to environmental and social challenges. She leads community renewables project development within the charity, working closely with communities to provide the support they need to take their energy projects from the feasibility stage through to design, build and operation. .

There is something special about being a member of the Leapfrog family. An alumnus of previous staff, trustees and volunteers remain connected in a very heartfelt and sincere way, even once they have left.
Previous leaders remain in touch, and supportive of, the current team; checking in, making sure everyone is well and that the organisation is thriving. We meet alumni at events and conferences and there is always a bond.
